About Me

Peter Wentworth, Esq., the pseudonymous author, was a 16th century English lawyer and parliamentarian who spent an inordinate amount of time imprisoned in the Tower of London for his speeches in the House of Commons.  He is also the 18th great-grandfather of the author, a North Carolina lawyer.  As Peter put it in the days of Queen Elizabeth I, “I will speak that I may have a vent, . . . I will regard no manner of Person, no man will I spare.”
